SO! This took longer than I’d like to admit. This was from using captmarine’s Sonic FC generator for what was supposed to be a quick drawing to get some art going.
Ok so okapi’s are really hard to convey through this because SEGA’s official style is so frustratingly limited I almost gave up to make it into a straight-up furry instead; initially I thought I was sketching a rodent, good lord. The best I can make it look like an okapi were the horns and the hand design which is meant to look like the white fur around the okapi’s feet. i tried
On to the traits, I thought that ‘liking music’ was an incredibly, incredibly general term because... everyone (who can hear) likes music in some form or another, so I turned it into “actual writer/composer who studies music”. Then I took it a step forward and made him blind so there’s a reason to why he wear glasses and really appreciates music. So that also explains why he wears fingerless gloves too, you know, for braille (CLEVER, AIN’T IT).
I have no name or anything planned for this guy; he was supposed to be a quick doodle orz
